Dental Sedation & Airway Annual Refresher

Half-day annual update for sedation teams: BLS, airway and BVM skills reassessed, one sedation scenario and open Q&A.

Course Overview

Our Dental Sedation & Airway Annual Refresher is a half-day update for dental sedation teams who have completed our full Dental Medical Emergencies, Sedation & Airway Management course within the previous 15 months.

It individually reassesses each team member’s adult life-support and airway skills, rehearses a sedation emergency in the dental chair, and gives your team time for questions, queries and doubts on everything else covered in the full course, including emergency medicines, anaphylaxis, oxygen and sedation complications.

Successful completion provides 3 hours 15 minutes of verifiable CPD, giving your practice up-to-date evidence each year that every team member’s skills have been checked.

Certification

Successful learners receive a First Aid Doctor Annual Refresher certificate, recording individually assessed reassessment of:

  • Adult BLS & AED
