Our Basic Life Support (BLS) & AED course provides learners with the essential life-saving skills needed to respond confidently during a medical emergency.
This practical, hands-on course teaches participants how to recognise cardiac arrest, perform effective CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), place a casualty into the recovery position and manage choking emergencies. Learners will gain the knowledge and confidence to act quickly and safely while awaiting the arrival of emergency medical services.
The course is available in both Adult and Paediatric formats, making it suitable for workplaces, healthcare professionals, schools, nurseries, childcare providers, sports organisations and anyone responsible for the care of children or adults.
As standard, these Adult and Paediatric courses include training on the recognition and management of severe allergic reactions and anaphylaxis.
